Our global AI Community is a vibrant network of more than one million contributors from diverse backgrounds who help customers collect, enhance, train, translate, and localize content to build better AI models. Become part of our growing community and contribute to the development of innovative AI technologies used by some of the world's largest brands.
Millions of people rely on digital maps every day to navigate, to discover, to find their way. But maps are only as accurate as the data behind them, and data is only as trustworthy as the people who verify it. Your knowledge of Kosovo's geography, local landmarks, and how people actually navigate your region is something no algorithm can fully replicate. That local intelligence is what makes maps genuinely useful.
In this role, you will conduct structured quality audits on spatial and mapping datasets. Your role is to verify, evaluate, and validate complex geographic and business information using advanced mapping tools and detailed reference materials.
- Conduct structured quality audits on spatial datasets using mapping platforms, search directories, and GIS-standard evaluation tools
- Evaluate and cross-reference complex business, geographic, and cultural data entries against multiple authoritative sources
- Perform root-cause analysis when spatial data points conflict across sources, documenting the discrepancy with precise reasoning
- Apply detailed evaluation frameworks with consistency and rigor across dozens of geographic, business, and cultural data variations
- Be open to work across a diverse set of Task Types (e.g. Maps, News, Audio tasks, Relevance)
- Provide structured feedback that helps refine mapping algorithms and improve geographic intelligence
Why this matters: Accurately verified mapping data prevents real-world navigation errors. Your verification work ensures people can reliably find critical services, reach trusted businesses, and navigate with confidence. At scale, this is infrastructure work that is foundational to how billions of people interact with geographic information.
Why join the project:
- Fully remote flexibility: Complete work from anywhere with stable internet, structuring your schedule around academic research, consulting, or other professional commitments
- Structured onboarding: Access comprehensive evaluation guidelines, detailed reference materials, and practical examples before your first live assessment
- Direct feedback and growth: Receive performance assessments tied to quality metrics so you can refine your evaluation precision
- Intellectually rigorous work: Each evaluation requires methodical reasoning, framework interpretation, and structured discrepancy analysis.
- Responsive support team: Contact dedicated contributor operations staff for clarification on guidelines, technical issues, or administrative questions
